This service is shared between our Fabric and Azure practices deliberately — one Purview implementation should cover both, or you end up governing the estate in halves.
Governing the lakehouse
Fabric items — lakehouses, warehouses, semantic models, reports — register in Purview automatically. The work is making the metadata meaningful: domains, owners, endorsement, and sensitivity labels that flow into Power BI.
